Austria Confirmed to be season opener as the WDSC prepares for record braking year.
The WDSC is proud to confirm the 2025 season will kick-off in Austria on the 13th June followed immediately by the iconic Ergan Dagi course in Erzincan-Turkiye on the following week. The Austrian event will be hosted by Axamer Lizum resort near Innsbruck featuring a high speed 2.4km course that will test the riders’ nerves.
2025 is shaping up to be the biggest season in WDSC history. With five events already confirmed across four contents for this season.
After close discussions with local authorities, a decision was made to move the Arthur’s Seat event in Melbourne-Australia to April of 2026 as the season opener, instead of hosting it over the Christmas period in 2025.
“We are elated that there has been so much interest in the WDSC from around the globe, and this surely benefits the sport in general and gives riders on almost all continents to get to a venue and race with us even if just for one event a year. Top riders will obviously be enjoying a full race calendar and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for the WDSC on all fronts.” Said Selim Kemahli, Promoter of the WDSC series.
