Erzincan,Turkey confirmed for Round 2

After a short pause to the season to re evaluate and re structure the WDSC and its future, Round 2 in Turkey has now been confirmed with a change of venue. In keeping with new venue guidelines, Round 2 will be held in Erzincan, Turkey where the public can have easy access to view the racing, and riders will be able to return to the start line and race village via ski lifts allowing for much quicker turn around times, and easier logistics and safer operation by negating the need for any busses on the course. The Ergan Dagi Ski Resort has all necessary facilities and infrastructure in place to host an event and is a very short distance from the local airport.

The dates for Round 2 have been moved to October 13-14-15 to minimise disruption for those who may have taken time off work to attend the previously planned USA event in Asheville.

There will be further updates on the race format for Round 2 as well as updates on all logistics and timetables.

WDSC management is in close talks and negotiations with the Brazil event organisers, and once we are confident that all our requirements will be met to our satisfaction we will confirm this as the final event of the 2023 season.
