London 31st March, 2025 : The World Downhill Skateboarding Championship opens doors to Inline Skaters at limited number of events.

After much discussion and by popular demand, the WDSC has decided to incorporate the Inline discipline at 3 events into the 2025 race calendar on a trial basis. This will mean that an Inline World Champion will be crowned based on their cumulative results over the 3-race series, these being Turkiye, Isle of Man and the El Salvador events. “We have been receiving a lot of pressure and requests from the inline community for some time now and have decided to give this a try. The WGSF rule book has been revised to include this exciting discipline, and we look forward to gauging interest and participation from the inline community and to observing if this puts any unnecessary stress on our existing formats or if it is complementary to our race weekends.:” said Selim Kemahli, Promoter of the WDSC series.
