TURKEY TO HOST ROUND 3 OF WDSC
LONDON, 8 August 2022: Race Marketing & Management (RMM), promoter of the World Downhill Skateboarding Championship (WDSC), has confirmed that round 3 of this year’s inaugural series will take place in Turkey.
Following two thrilling and highly competitive rounds in July in Italy and the Czech Republic in collaboration with event organisers Not 4 All and Czech Gravity Sports Association, RMM and the World Gravity Sports Federation (WGSF) will stage round 3 on 15-16 October, with the venue to be announced in the coming weeks. “The opening rounds were sensational and we are looking to carry that momentum forward,” said Selim Kemahli, managing director RMM. “With our partners WGSF we have identified several wonderful locations in Turkey and will decide and announce it in the coming weeks.”
Kemahli has confirmed that qualifying, the knockout rounds and all finals in Open Stand Up, women’s Stand Up and Open Street Luge will be streamed live on the WDSC web site and social media platforms, with riders able to register for the event online from today on the WDSC web site.
