WONG, PRADER AND WALDBURGER LOOKING TO UPSET THE FORM BOOK

10 July, 2022, MONTICIANO (Italy): The top three women riders in yesterday’s qualifying in Stand Up will be looking to upset the form book in today’s knockout rounds and progress to the ‘Open’ finals.

Malaysia’s Grace Wong was the quickest of the trio, ahead of Swiss duo Tamara Prader and Livia Waldburger, the three separated by just 1.08s

Wong posted a best time of 1:54.56s, 0.86s quicker than Prader, with Waldburger a further 0.22s down in third, ahead of Germany’s Myrjam Weissschuh, who is side-lined today, and Belgium’s Jasmijn Hanegraef – the four all going in today’s knockouts and then going head-to-head in the women’s final.
