Cumberland Valley, PA sits at the midpoint of the Appalacian Trail. Nestled between two steep ridges. The area is deep in history of the United States of America.
WDSC introduces a fresh course in Miller’s Gap. The course isn’t very technical, but will probably be the fastest course on the circuit. It is a long, mostly straight shot, with a few roller coaster bumps, before heading into a tight right left chicane before hitting the finish.

TRACK INFO
The brand new course starts at the top of the hill at Miller’s Gap. Heading almost straight down the steep grade towards a hard right followed by hard left at the bottom before hitting the finish. The course is a bit roller coasty, and is expected to be in the 70 MPH. It may be straight, but it won’t be easy.

- Camping: None on site, although there are nearby campgrounds.
- Sounds like the Reisdences are now sold out! If you want to stay in a hotel Holiday Inn Express in Kimball Junction is only about a mile away. But the Park City area has almost 10,000 short term rentals. You can find these on vrbo.com and airbnb.com, or other similar sites. If you are looking for a cheaper hotel option you can find relatively inexspenive hotels in Salt Lake City, only about 30 minutes away.
Food :
There will be food trucks on site. Food is also available just 2-miles from the event venue.
Riders will have access to exclusive food and drink discounts nearby.

- Do freeriders have to register with the WGSF to ride at Park City Downhill?
- No, freeriders do not need to be members of the WGSF to skate at PCDH.
- What safety requirements are there for riders?
- Freeriders are only required to wear a full face helmet, slide gloves, and closed-toe shoes.
- Racers are required to follow the WGSF safety requirements.
- Will there be freeriding every day of the event?
- Yes! Freeriding will take place all four days of the event. Freeride runs will drop behind each set of race heats, and timed qualifying runs.
- Is there camping?
- We hope so! At this time we do not have a designated rider’s campground. However, there many budget lodging options near the event
- Is lunch included in the entry fee?
- No, lunch is not included in the entry fee. However, a food truck will be onsite to purchase lunch. And, additionally, there are plenty of food options just 5 minutes down the road from the parking lot.
- Will we have access to our cars during the event?
- Yes! The parking lot is located right at the bottom of the hill, so you will be able to visit your car in between every run if you wanted to.
- Can we leave and come back during the event?
- Yes! The parking lot is accessible, but located outside of the road closure. So participants can leave and return as often as they’d like.
