KOZAKOV ORGANISER FORCED TO WITHDRAW FROM 2023 CALENDAR

Wednesday, 31 May, London (UK) 2023: The organiser of the race in Kozakov in the Czech Republic that was scheduled to kick-start the 2023 World Downhill Skateboarding Championship on 7-8 July has advised Race marketing & Management that due to unforeseen circumstances they have been forced to withdraw from the calendar. “It is very disappointing news for all involved,” said Selim Kemahli. “But we fully understand the financial constraints and difficulties that are facing everyone in the current economic climate and hope to return to Kozakov as soon as possible.”
As a result, Nusenna in Italy will now launch the 2023 campaign followed a week later by round 2 in Cappadocia in Turkiye, with the organisers confirming that the demanding high-speed course is being fully resurfaced.
