WDSC and X Treme League 2025 team up for the inaugural QS event in Brazil

The WDSC are elated to be announcing the first stand-alone Qualifying Series event, and what better country to do this than in Brazil where there is a huge and vibrant downhill community. The WDSC QS will be raced on the final day of the X Treme League 2025, a 4 day event taking place in Aguas de Lindoia, near Sao Paolo on the 7 curves Mountain organised by Everton Ribeiro.

The top 3 placed riders in their respective categories will get a free passage to race in the Championship Tour category at the season finale in El Salvador, without needing to qualify through the QS races there. This landmark event is being supported not only by the skate industry, but also by the local government, and will be posted across the WDSC social media channels, offering invaluable exposure.

“ We are super happy to have gotten this deal across the line, and to be opening this new chapter in our journey to grow and expand the sport and our horizons. As always, safety will be our top priority, and we will be sending a safety officer to this event to make sure everything is up to WDSC standards, and this should reassure participants and help grow the numbers at the event.” Said Selim Kemahli, Promoter of the WDSC.

“This is a landmark moment for our organisation, to be partnering up with a globally recognised Tour which has now become the benchmark for downhill racing, and to be able to send riders directly into the CT category of the final round in El Salvador” said Everton Ribeiro, organiser of X Treme League 2025.
